This critical role of proposal and grant writer will be filled through a variety of per Diem/contractual agreements driven by subject/topic area and requirements of the proposal to be developed (including being proactive, raising calls for proposals to the attention of THRIVE leadership). With THRIVE’s focus spanning both economic and health improvements it is our goal to retain experienced grant and proposals writers in various subject matter areas in a variety of areas to meet our needs. THRIVE Writers will collaborate with other team members in the organization to assist with identifying and retaining funds for portfolio implementation. 
THRIVE Writers will be highly organized, have the ability to implement systems and follow-up processes, able to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams, use independent judgement and produce a quality work product within tight time constraints. Applicants will have knowledge of funding sources, ability to build partnerships and be committed to the mission being represented.

Writers will work directly with the MiHIA CEO, THRIVE Portfolio Director and Executive Assistant, GLBRA CEO, and other staff and contractors hired to support THRIVE.
